Most Delaware scholarship and grant awards are based upon demonstrated financial need, usually determined by the FAFSA calculation, but many programs require a certain grade point average (GPA), a certain academic standing in high school or previous learning institution. For example, a program may require an applicant to be a high school senior in at least the top half of his or her graduating.
If so, we may have a scholarship for you. The Delaware Federation of Garden Clubs (DFGC) offers one-year scholarships to undergraduate juniors and seniors and to graduate students. (Sophomores may apply for their junior year.) The winner of Delaware's scholarship will be submitted to National Garden Clubs, Inc. and considered for an additional scholarship. For the past thirty years we have provided scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors that attend a high school that is physically located in Delaware County, Ohio.
